On Tuesday 29th of June, Terri presented the inaugural National Reconciliation Week Address at the University of Wollongong as part of their Reconciliation Week event.

The event was hosted by UOW’s Woolyungah Indigenous Centre and office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Inclusion and Outreach), Professor Paul Chandler.
In respect of the NRW theme ‘Don’t Keep History A Mystery’, Terri presented her paper titled ‘Indigenous Knowledge is not a Terra Nullius’. The paper highlighted the value of Indigenous Knowledge as cultural heritage, but also in its contribution to the arts and science, focussing on plant knowledge. Terri presented the True Tracks 10 steps to engagement and collaboration, and key issues facing IP as a framework for protecting ICIP and Indigenous Knowledge.
