​Join our team as a Paralegal. We're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated professional to support our legal team.

 

Do you want your professional development to include:

  • Regular inhouse training events on legal, consulting and soft skills

  • Workshops with guest speakers and invitations to cool events

  • Working in a small team Pod with an Unrestricted Solicitor

 

Do you have an interest, or experience in:

  • First Nations people and issues

  • Working with; Indigenous Organisations, private business, government agencies and universities

  • Intellectual Property (IP), Indigenous Cultural & Intellectual Property (ICIP), commercial matters, AI, Data Sovereignty, Governance, Native Title, Heritage

  • Consulting, research and drafting policy and protocols

  • Conducting reviews and investigations.

 

Can you:

  • Write – draft a letter, communicate a story

  • Engage - listen with purpose, take notes of significance

  • Manage – yourself, and help manage a supervising solicitors’ matters & projects

  • Communicate – to engage with clients & liaise with colleagues.

  • Work – full time

  • Travel around Australia to meet with our clients

  • Write - draft contracts, protocols, reports, policy

  • Consult - listen with purpose, take notes of significance, put it all in a report

  • Present – get up in front of a group, communicate a story, talk to mob

  • Manage – yourself, a supporting paralegal and projects to conclusion

  • Communicate – to engage with clients & liaise with colleagues.

  • Hold – or obtain, an unrestricted practising certificate

  • Work – full time

Marketing Coordinator 

We're looking for a creative and driven marketing professional to join our team and help us grow our brand.

Can you:

  • Write – draft a letter, communicate a story

  • Engage – listen with purpose, take notes of significance

  • Manage – yourself, and manage marketing campaigns

  • Communicate – to engage with clients & colleagues.

  • Work – Part Time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the TJC Marketing Action Plan

  • Manage/edit/update the TJC website & social media

  • Coordinate TJC at trade show events & conferences

  • Coordinate TJC gatherings and social events

  • Promote our online workshops

  • Draft and distribute blogs and promotional emails

  • Prepare and submit award submissions

  • Join our inhouse Reconciliation Working Group and revise the TJC RAP

  • Develop marketing & communication material as required

  • Analyse marketing data and report on results

  • Assist with proposal drafting and quoting templates

  • Assist with research when needed.

  • Assist with overflow work from Paralegals & Executive Assistant

  • Assist with business development

  • Report to the TJC Marketing Committee Chair
