Celebrating Finalists Anika Valenti and Elizabeth Mason

TJC

We are proud to celebrate the efforts and successes of two of our incredible team members - Anika Valenti (Senior Solicitor) and Elizabeth Mason (Solicitor).

Anika Valenti is a Finalist for the Lawyers Weekly: Women in Law Awards 2021 in the category Innovator of the Year. Anika is a highly valued and hardworking Senior Solicitor at our firm. We have seen her go from strength to strength - working remotely and representing the firm around Australia, and providing educational training to Indigenous creatives and businesses concerning their business ventures, IP and ICIP, and branding, including arts, entertainment, tourism, catering, bush foods, cosmetics, construction and pastoral businesses and Prescribed Bodies Corporate, Aboriginal Corporations and Indigenous entrepreneurs. Her scope of work and expertise is phenomenal, and this recognition is well deserved. Congratulations Anika!

Last month, Elizabeth Mason (Solicitor) was named a Finalist in the Women Lawyer's Association of NSW Awards in the category Rising Star of the Year. Elizabeth continues to achieve a high level of professional skill and excellence in Commercial Law, Intellectual Property and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP), including the development of ICIP Protocols for clients in the arts, languages, sciences and GLAM sector. Her expertise, passion and dedication to these fields sees her contribute to the empowerment of Indigenous peoples, women and organisations. Elizabeth also makes an impact by serving as a positive role model for Indigenous and non-Indigenous legal graduates. Being selected as a Finalist in this category is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Elizabeth, you are our Rising Star!
