Terri Janke and Company are proud to announce that we are now ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certified!

After undergoing an extensive and exhausting audit process with SAI Global, we are now Certified as complying with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. (ISO is the International Organisation for Standardization).

The certification shows that the Terri Janke and Company team is committed to quality. The key principles in our approach are: leadership, client focus, team inclusion, tested systems and constant never ending improvement.

Kevin Anderson, TJC Policy Team Chair noted:

"It was a long and difficult process, but we have created a system that has enhanced the quality of work we provide our clients. I am proud of what the Policy Team has accomplished and we will continue to refine our systems."

Gaining certification was a 2+ year process that involved the whole firm. We drafted and refined more than 73 individual documents, including: policies, how to guides, plans, matrix and frameworks. The documents communicate how we work effectively as a team. They range from the complex, Conflict of Interest Policy, (the lawyers' favourite policy) to the more suburban, Clean Kitchen Policy (yay! the fridge is sparkling) to the all-important IT & Security Policy (important now that the office is 100% digital, no more paper) to the Staff Meeting Guidelines (we recommend this approach for effective and timely meetings).

Adam Broughton, also a key member on the TJC Policy Team, concluded that:

"It was a great experience to be able to assist in the development and implementation of the system that is crucial to strengthening and maintaining the quality of our inputs and outputs. As a team we have worked very hard to achieve this certification and will continue to work hard to ensure its maintenance."

We continue the Quality Management journey with; training the team, refining & improving existing documents and drafting new documents.
