Classification: Terri Janke and Company Indigenous Legal Intern Program

Basis: Casual, onsite (ROSEBERY NSW 2018)

When: Summer break, 2021/22

Your Role Terri Janke and Company is seeking Indigenous law students (3+ years) to join our team and be exposed to:

  • varied legal matters that are fulfilling and rewarding;

  • ongoing skills development and training.

  • Terri Janke and Company is an award-winning legal and consulting firm that is100% Indigenous owned and led by Dr Terri Janke.

  • Our work includes advising clients and writing reports: intellectual property, governance, commercial matters, arts, culture, environment, heritage, natural resource management and ICIP. We also undertake Indigenous consultancy projects.

  • Our clients are organisations, government agencies, universities and corporations.

  • Established in April 2000, we are ISO9001 Quality Management Systems certified.

We are seeking talent who

Open to Indigenous law students that have completed at least 3 years of successful study.

The position will be over the summer months, full time (excluding Christmas/New Year holiday break), paid, and supervised by an experienced lawyer. This is a great opportunity to be mentored in a unique environment, and to learn from leading experts.
