We are excited to share our Reconciliation Action Plan with you

TJC

We are excited to share our Innovative Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) with you! At Terri Janke and Company, progressing reconciliation is a core driver of our work. We are committed to doing what we can to incentivise and implement action that promotes reconciliation within our team, and externally too. Our focus is to strengthen the relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and our staff and stakeholders. Our vision for reconciliation is for Indigenous knowledges and cultures to be protected, for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples, socially and economically.

Our Innovate RAP is our 2-year commitment. It outlines what we will do to achieve our Vision for Reconciliation, from now until October 2024. We outline our unique and innovative strategies that will empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Our core business, as a commercial law firm, focuses on protecting Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP). We aid the process of Reconciliation through fostering meaningful collaborations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, in accordance with Indigenous rights to their knowledge and culture.

Our strategies to expand and strengthen our efforts for Reconciliation are outlined in this RAP. Our dedicated and skilled team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous solicitors, paralegals and support staff, together with our scope of work, our sphere of influence and our established and growing network, we will strive for the advancement of Reconciliation.
