Expertise

Chloe is an experienced lawyer who comes to TJC with extensive background in intellectual property, administrative law and litigation. Most recently Chloe has worked at Arts Law where she has advised artists, presented workshops and contributed to advocacy campaigns on a range of legal areas; including intellectual property (copyright, moral rights and trade marks), governance, contracts, confidentiality, consumer, defamation and insurance laws. Chloe has a passion for the arts and First Nations artists and communities.

Experience

Chloe was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2011 after graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International Studies. Since then, Chloe has completed a Master of Administrative Law and Public Policy at the University of Sydney in 2019.

Chloe has held senior positions at the Australian Government Solicitor and in private practice, working for a range of Government clients.


Recent Projects

- Co-presenting with the Arts Law Artists in the Black Team and Creative Australia Digital Download Sessions – connecting with Indigenous communities across Australia (2024/2025)

- Presenting ICIP workshop at Northern Territory Writers Festival (2025)

- Presenting Legal Issues 101 for writers at the Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival (2024 and 2025)


Community

Chloe has two small humans and a groodle pup named Russell at home. When she is not wrangling one of them you can find her at the beach, with her nose in a book or trying to write her own. Chloe is Vice-President of literary mag Going Down Swinging and her work in progress was shortlisted for the Richell Prize for emerging writers in 2024.
