Expertise

Maggie is a Solicitor at Terri Janke and Company, where she supports clients across a range of areas including Intellectual Property, Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property, and Indigenous Data Sovereignty.


Experience

Maggie was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW in April 2026. Prior to joining Terri Janke and Company, Maggie worked in Native Title as both a Paralegal and Solicitor.

Here, she would:

  • manage native title claims in the Federal Court and National Native Title Tribunal;

  • facilitate contract negotiations and draft agreements including Indigenous Land Use Agreements; and

  • assist in dispute resolutions relating to exploration and mining licences, compulsory acquisitions, and just terms compensation.

In 2024, Maggie co-founded Zeta Education Pty Ltd, an HSC tuition centre specialising in Mathematics Extension 1 and 2. Coupled with her 7-years of teaching and background in mathematics, she brings not only valuable logical and analytical skills, but also strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Community

Maggie is a non-Indigenous person born and raised on Gundungurra Country, now living on Gadigal Land. In her spare time, you can find Maggie at the movie theatres or cozied up on the couch with a cuppa and a book.
